LARS

Greetings.  My name is Lars. I like to be outside (preferably in the snow) and love to travel with my humans.  I was lucky to be adopted by my wonderful parents who thought I was mute at first. I finally found my voice, and now I sometimes bark for quite a while – it’s pretty cool to hear my echo coming back from the canyons near my house.  I’ve been quite a few places in my short life - from the lowlands of South Carolina to the top of 14,000' mountains in Colorado to slot canyons in Utah, and I love it all!  I must say I’m quite an accomplished rock climber, often scaring my companions. I love playing Frisbee, and exercising my parents – they always seem to want it back right away when they throw it to me, but I make them work for it.  I also love to hike. To be honest with you, I really don’t understand why we don't just spend all of our time backpacking and hiking.
